What you will do in your working day

  • Office admin duty’s
  • Answering the office phone.
  • Assisting with processing payroll and pensions on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Preparing bank reconciliations and analysis with the potential to then start preparing schedules, trial balance’s and then full financial statements.
  • Assisting with bookkeeping and VAT returns.
  • General accountancy admin duty’s such as applying for HMRC authorisation, setting up clients on our systems and engaging/disengaging clients.

Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 2 (GCSE) Apprenticeship Standard

Day release at Newcastle Site (Stamp Exchange, Westgate Road, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE1 1SA)  

  • On and off-the-job training

Depending on the circumstances of the business upon completion of the apprenticeship programme there could be a potential position of employment available.
