What you will do in your working day

The Trainee Quantity Surveyor will assist with providing commercial support to project teams, maintaining commercial information, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and the company’s objectives.

  • Assist with subcontract letting, negotiation, management and financial accounting
  • Assist with preparation of applications for payment in line with agreed timetable and ensure certificates are received in line with contractual requirements
  • Liaise effectively with operational management and site teams
  • Liaise with sales/preconstruction team to assist with effective handover of successful tenders

The training you will be getting

  • Chartered Quantity Surveying Apprenticeship (level 6) with MRICS accreditation

  • Training will take place in-person for 1-day per week at London South Bank University, Southwark Campus

  • The training is delivered day-release method.

Things to consider

The applicant must be available and able to travel to and from work/university. There will be occasional support with client site visits. Additionally, any application that does not clearly meet the academic entry criteria for the apprenticeship by listing relevant GCSE's and highest level of qualifications, will not be considered for this role.
