What you will do in your working day

  • Decontamination of instruments and infection control
  • Helping ensure health and safety in the workplace
  • Setting up the surgery for dental procedures
  • Caring for all patients
  • Assisting the clinician in all chairside procedures
  • Processing and mounting radiographs
  • Liaising with dental labs
  • Ensure patient records are stored confidentiality

The training you will be getting

  • The apprentice will be working towards their City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing
  • The Apprentice will attend a day release during term time, held at St Helens College Town Centre Campus

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
