Summary

Do you have an eye for detail and an interest in fault finding? PETA Ltd are looking to source an exceptional Maintenance Engineering Apprentice for our client, LevertonHELM. This role involves learning how to perform day-to- day upkeep, maintenance and support of new pilot plant work in a growing company.

£18,000 a year

Work

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

What you’ll do at work

As a Maintenance Engineer Apprentice, you will be studying a Level 3 Maintenance Operations Engineering Technician Apprenticeship. Throughout your apprenticeship with LevertonHELM, you will be supported by your company mentor and your PETA Learning and Development Coach.
Your Level 3 programme will include, a level 3 Engineering work-based qualification delivered by PETA, and day release for 24 months to complete a level 3 BTEC technical certificate.
Overall duration 48 months.

Essential qualifications

GCSE or equivalent in:

  • English (grade C/4)
  • Maths (grade C/4)

Other requirements

Company Benefits: 25 days hols + bank hols, (goes up after 3 years by 1 day to 28 days + bank hols). Pension 7% from both sides. Enhanced maternity & paternity leave. Private medical insurance, singular can be upgraded to family but would require a quote to be done. Life assurance 3 or 4 x basic. A driving licence is highly desirable for this role to enable travel to/from LevertonHELM sites.
