What you will do in your working day

Outline of day-to-day duties:

  • Working within a busy manufacturing environment as an essential part of the team.
  • Operating / Setting / Programming various CNC machinery / programmes
  • Undertaking Milling, Turning techniques
  • Operating /setting conventional machinery
  • Be able to use Verniers, micrometres and other measuring equipment
  • Working within tolerance
  • Quality / Inspection
  • Grinding
  • Adhering to health and safety requirements

The training you will be getting

They will achieve a  Machining Techinician Level 3 (A Level),qualification.

Dedicated performance coach throughout the 42 months.

You will aim to be a workshop team leader/Skilled techician.

Blended on/off the job training and location to be confirmed.
