What you will do in your working day

Your duties will include:

  • Helping us to map existing opportunities for physical activity and identify where there are gaps
  • Assisting us to find out from our local communities what opportunities for physical activity and sport they would like to see in North Herts
  • Working with us to promote local opportunities for physical activity and sport through website development, social media channels, channels and other advertising opportunities
  • Supporting the delivery of physical activity projects and events around North Herts
  • Assist the team to monitor our leisure contracts

The training you will be getting

As part of your employment, you will study for and complete a Level 3 Community Sport and Health Officer apprenticeship.

Learning will take place online within the workplace and you will meet with a tutor regularly, both remotely and in the workplace, you will also be required to attend face to face workshops throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship.

Things to consider

You must have a full driving license and be a car owner OR a willingness and ability to travel to different locations in North Herts using public transport (for which you will be reimbursed).
