What you will do in your working day

The Laboratory Apprentice will learn how to:

  • Work safely within a laboratory environment
  • How to safely use and maintain a variety of laboratory equipment including XRF, CCS and Brookfield
  • Housekeeping including stock maintenance
  • QC testing of Rock Oil products, recording results industry specifications
  • Following SOP, producing and analyzing data
  • Work with R&D department to produce lab blends of new formulations

The training you will be getting

Level 3: Laboratory Technician

  • Training provided by Tiro
  • Blended delivery online and in person in situ: Rock Oil
  • Block release: Minimum of six hours per week of training by various methods including lessons and projects.
