What you will do in your working day

We are recruiting for an Underwriting Assistant to join our team based in Manchester on a 2 year fixed term contract. You will:

  • Work with a collaborative team of underwriters that will provide you with the opportunity to build a unique and successful career within a highly competitive area of the insurance industry.
  • Build Insurance skillsets through a blend of mentorship, professional qualifications through an apprenticeship.
  • Complete on-the-job training.

The training you will be getting

  • Training will be provided on-site at our Manchester office.
  • Apprenticeship training will be via Davies, virtually. 6 hours per week off the job training.
  • Insurance Practitioner Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
  • Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII).

 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • A permanent role may be offered depending on the successful completion of the apprenticeship with potential to lead to an Associate/Assistant Underwriter.
