What you will do in your working day

  • Working under the direction, guidance and supervision of a fully qualified groundworks operative to achieve the skills and qualifications required
  • Deliver all services in line with Bernicia standards ensuring an equitable, high performing customer service is delivered at all times
  • Undertake all estate maintanence, use of machinery and repair work, to the highest quality and standard in accordance with work requests and pre-determined specifications and a wide range of additonal tasks.
  • Where required repairs are to be completed utilising ancillary multi-skill knowledge and experience to provide a one stop shop, first fix, first time service in order to maintence our standards.

The training you will be getting

Level 2 in horticulture.

Comprehensive induction programme.

Training in customer excellence, health and safety, equality and diversity, fire safety and introduction to housing.
