What you will do in your working day

As an Administrator your main duties will include:

  • Upload previous day's work and input onto the system
  • Check cash variances at the point of input, rectifying any errors wherever possible
  • Check that all money is banked and monitor over / under banking
  • Create bank reconciliation sheets for all depots and send to accounts
  • Ensure shortfall sheet is kept up to date
  • Transmit work to breweries and leisure data, and clear errors
  • Send out Collectors work for the following day
  • Be the point of contact for collectors / brewery enquiries and other ad-hoc tasks / reports
  • Responsible for late collection reports
  • Weekend reports
  • Route maintenance

The training you will be getting

On completion of the apprenticeship, you will receive a recognised qualification in Business Administration Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.

  • Training is delivered on the job at Bob Rudd Group Newcastle upon Tyne
  • You will receive regular (monthly) training and support from a qualified expert in Business Administration (assessor) from Woodspeen Training Ltd
  • Training is delivered face to face in the workplace or via Teams online meetings
  • Full training is provided on all associated administration tasks within the office environment
  • If you require to complete and achieve functional skills maths and English level 2 (if not already achieved C/4 GCSE or equivalent), support and functional skills training will be delivered by a functional skills expert form Woodspeen Training Ltd. This is delivered face to face or via Teams online meetings 
  • An End Point Assessment (EPA) is completed after 18 months on programme. This is an external examination board who will assess all your work, portfolio and skills learnt within the apprenticeship
