A Level 3 Apprentice Assistant Accountant is required. Are you looking to secure a career in accounting working for an accounts practice that truly values it's employees and customers? Duties include: working in our bookkeeping department preparing clients' monthly & quarterly records, and preparing and filing VAT returns.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
The apprentice will be enrolled on the Level 3 Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship Standard, which includes 6 AAT exams, in addition to the Synoptic Assessment as part of the End-Point Assessment (EPA) process.
The knowledge units will be delivered at the EMA training hub in Derby or Nottingham (depending on the apprentice's location) through day release.
AAT Modules are as follows:
- Bookkeeping Transactions (Level 2 Unit)
- Bookkeeping Controls (Level 2 Unit)
- Advanced Bookkeeping
- Final Accounts Preparation
- Management Accounting: Costing
- Indirect Tax.
