What you will do in your working day

  • Liaise and work closely with Operations Manager and Marketing
  • Build effective and successful client relationships, promote open communication, loyalty and sales generation
  • Strive to ensure all existing/potential client interactions with company are positive and efficient
  • Undertake initial and ongoing extensive product knowledge training to enable enthusiastic communication regarding the company’s products and services

Develop knowledge of services provided, including but not limited to;

  • Cyber essentials
  • Add-ons for Microsoft 365
  • Document management
  • SecurityHosted telephone systems
  • Use knowledge of products and services to highlight to Operations Manager and Company Director potential opportunities for service improvement with existing and new clients
  • Send out mail merges and mail shots relevant to role and in line with agreed marketing schedule
  • Handle and ensure timely fulfilment of PC sales, mobile sales and laptop sales
  • Ensure a professional company and brand image is always maintained both with customers, the public and colleagues
  • Talk to existing customers via warm leads (no cold calling)
  • Complete delegated administration duties and provide cross-department support as directed by managers
  • Use platforms such as Connect use
  • Work with mobile communicators
  • Process and support pre-release orders (e.g. new iPhone releases)
  • Attend company/sales meetings
  • Provide progress reports to Manager/Directors as requested.
  • Deal with and direct appropriately incoming enquires

Skills Required

  • Customer service, telephone experience, customer-facing experience, or sales experience - preferred
  • An ability to communicate in a professional, friendly way, to listen to problems and situations
  • Numerate and literate
  • A good understanding of IT and keenness to learn
  • Ability to network with new company contacts, business partners, customers, and other employees (attend face to face events / meetings)
  • The ability to build and develop strong business relationships internally and most importantly externally
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment

The training you will be getting

  • L3 Technical Sales Technician
  • Remote training from apprentices workplace
  • One day per week of training
