What you will do in your working day

Duties will include, but not limited to;

  • Filing, scanning and photocopying
  • Opening new files for the solicitor - equity release, sales, purchases, remortgages, transfer of equity etc.
  • I.D. checks (and dealing with Client Care Packs when received back from the clients)
  • Housekeeping such as making tea/drinks (we all do this!) and emptying bins and shredder
  • General admin tasks, including stationery order and replenishing printers
  • Answering the door and assisting with phone calls (meeting clients)
  • Handling emails
  • Collecting, scanning and distributing post

Full training will be given in order to complete the above duties to the best of your ability.

The training you will be getting

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

  • Modules covering Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours in Business
  • You'll have a personal tutor to guide you through your training
  • You will attend 1:1 sessions with your tutor every 2/3 weeks
  • End Point Assessment (online)
  • Occasional group classes with other learners
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in maths & English if required
  • Level 3 Business Administrator Certificate from IFATE and City & Guilds

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Progression - YES - our current assistant team manager was an apprentice! 

Depending on the successful completion of the apprenticeship, and the business needs, the plan is to retain the apprentice at the end of the apprenticeship.
