What you will do in your working day

  • Instruction to a large range of machines including manual machines and CNC machines
  • Set, programme and produce a large range of components to high standards using various materials
  • Use of a large range of inspection techniques to ensure component standards are achieved

The training you will be getting

L3 Advanced Apprenticeship Standard, endorsed by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) for Engineering Technician (EngTech).

EAL Level 3 Extended Diploma in Machining. This is completed on an initial block release basis followed by a day release at a local college.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Full-time employment post completion of the apprenticeship.
