What you will do in your working day

Facet Manufacturing (UK) Ltd is an Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS / CEM) provider based In Weston-super-Mare.

Our manufacturing team are highly skilled, ambitious, friendly and client focused. We take pride in what we do and always go the extra mile to support our clients.

Equally important to us is a can-do, positive outlook – we’re looking for somebody who cares about their work, is emotionally mature and keen to grow with the company.

Daily duties:

  • Test Procedures.
  • Electronic test Diagnostics.
  • Surface Mount Technologies.
  • Pick and Place Machine program writing.

The training you will be getting

  • Engineering Fitter Level 3 qualification
  • If you have not already achieved a C/4 + in both Maths and English (or equivalent) and cannot provide evidence in the form of a certificate, you will also need to achieve Functional skills at Level 2, in both Numeracy and Literacy. This will include sitting an exam.
  • College attendance Monday, Tuesday Wednesday.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Working for Diamond Group across a number of sites as an Electronics Engineer. Specializing in Electronics and Surface Mount Technologies.
