What you will do in your working day

Bank Hall Kindergarden are looking for a level 2 or 3 Early Years apprentices:

  • To inspire and nurture young minds through purposeful play
  • To be a good role model and display exemplary practice at all times
  • To support practitioners providing consistent, high quality care and early years education
  • To support practitioners in developing children’s learning and development
  • Extend play, curiosity and learning
  • Adhere to policies and procedures
  • Work part of a team
  • Ensure room is organised, clean and tidy
  • Assist in preparing and serving meals / snacks
  • Follow daily rota of everyday tasks
  • Plan and prepare daily activities and supervise play both indoors and outdoors
  • Pay rate would be dependent on age

The training you will be getting

After sucessful achievement of this apprenticeship you will achieve a Level 2 Early Years Pracitioner apprenticeship or a Level 3 Early Years Educator aprenticeship (dependent on the level), along with the relevant diploma. 

This apprenticeship is work based however, you will be required to attend a monthly sesssion at Runshaw college. 

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Progression onto Early Years Educator Level 3.
