What you will do in your working day

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to different departments, including but not limited to data entry, filing, and document management.
  • Communication: Assist in maintaining effective communication channels within the organization, handling emails, phone calls, and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to achieve common goals, attend meetings, and contribute ideas to improve processes.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Project Assistance: Support various projects by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Customer Service: Assist in delivering exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders by responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Training and Development: Actively engage in the apprenticeship training program, completing assignments, attending training sessions, and demonstrating a commitment to personal and professional development.

You will be provided with full training for any tasks and responsibilities throughout the apprenticeship scheme and be supported by the Business Support Manager throughout.

You will spend 4 days per week working on the above and 1 day a week attending in-person training as part of the apprenticeship scheme.

The training you will be getting

As part of the apprenticeship, you will complete a Business Administrator Level 3 qualification at Southbank Colleges at their Clapham campus. This will be 1 day per week and begin in September.
