What you will do in your working day

This apprenticeship would give -

  • A grounding in all areas of Fire Protection and Detection Systems
  • Allow you to work on projects in the various departments, using your communication, planning, digital and project skills.
  • A chance to develop your skills in a new apprenticeship framework
  • In your first year you will have an opportunity to learn how to use CAD for design, the basics of project management, how job quotes are costed and created and gain an understanding of the importance of managing commercial costs, materials and project deadlines.

The training you will be getting

  • Attending South and City College Birmingham at the Bordesley Green Campus 1 day per week on the level 3 Construction Support Technician Course.
  • Level 3 Construction Support Technician qualification
