What you will do in your working day

The apprentice will be shadowing our two head coaches as they deliver over 45 Personal Training sessions per week. Learning how to lead a safe and enjoyable fitness session for multiple participants and understanding different styles of excerise, and  how to efficiently plan an effective training programme. This can include spinning, cardio, weight lifting , nutrition.

The day to day duties include

  • Greeting clients
  • showing them how to use equipment
  • Making sure all health and safety legislation is adhered to.

The training you will be getting

The apprentice will gain a L3 in personal training, they will get full on the job training  from staff and also full support from the SCL team. they will also be allocated 20% of the job training.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

The apprentice will complete a Level 3 in personal training, once this is completed there is a wide range of sports qualifications depending on what path the apprentice would like to take for example L4 in Sports.
