What you will do in your working day

  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations for moving, handling, packing, and unpacking items
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that goods are moved, handled, and stored safely
  • Load and unload items from vehicles, containers and storage facilities
  • Use IT applications and warehousing management systems to record and track goods
  • Maintain accurate stock records and documentation to ensure compliance with inventory processes
  • Upkeep and proficiency in basic IT applications and warehousing management systems, including data capture and barcode systems
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and customers to ensure that your role requirements are met
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet the company’s operational needs
  • Demonstrates integrity, credibility, honesty, and positivity
  • Shows personal drive and commitment to the environmental impact of work activities
  • Adaptability to embrace and utilise new technology and equipment in the warehouse
