What you will do in your working day

  • Demonstrating and putting into practice a range of technical, retail and customer services skills.
  • Working alongside other technicians to carry out an array of services and repairs to vehicles.
  • Learning and working on all the systems found within vehicles.
  • Assisting with the general running of the workshop.
  • Helping with parts supply and distribution.

The training you will be getting

The apprentice will work towards attaining the Level 2 Autocare Technician Apprenticeship with one day a week of training at Weymouth College.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Following completion of the Apprenticeship the right candidate may be taken on as a permanent member of staff.

Things to consider

You MUST be prepared to commit to your work and training for the duration of the apprenticeship. You will be required to attend an interview and assessment at Weymouth College prior to your application being passed on.
