What you will do in your working day

Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Providing a good level of customer service to customers and companies via phone and email
  • Organise and manage the diary to book electrical work, and arrange site visits for the estimator
  • Reconciling payments
  • Sending purchase orders to wholesalers
  • General admin duties

The training you will be getting

You will be working towards a Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard.

The apprenticeship consists of a mixture of off the job training and on the job mentoring and development within the workplace.

You will be required to attend St Austell College fortnightly, with some elements of the course are delivered online.

About the employer

NSN Electrical Ltd are an Electrical Contractor with a modern approach to business based in Long Rock, Penzance. We provide all types of electrical work including a range of services from re-wiring, heating, EICR’s, electrical vehicle chargers, solar panels and more, for both domestic and commercial properties. We cover Penzance and the surrounding area of West Cornwall and all over Cornwall to provide solar and EV chargers. The Admin team manages the operation of all electrical work within the office, from ordering materials, handling accounts and diary management. All training will be provided in house. We aim to operate as a paperless business as much as possible. We have a positive, friendly working environment, and hold annual social events.
