What you will do in your working day

As an apprentice, your key tasks and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Gain front to back understanding of the businesses being supported and building relationships with key internal partners including Technology, Front Office, Legal and other Operational teams
  • Understand the front to back processes within the team and the associated risks and controls
  • Ensuring timely and accurate drafting of confirmations to our Global Markets clients
  • Challenging the team’s processes and generating ideas to improve how we do things
  • Active involvement with our Change and Technology partners in the continuous improvement of the end-to-end operating environment
  • Contribute to the production and analysis of performance metrics

The training you will be getting

Our apprentice program starts in September 2024 and we are currently looking for motivated and control focused Apprentices to join our Global Markets Operations team in Chester in a full time role whilst studying the Level 4 Investment Operations Specialist apprenticeship standard.

Training will be held virtually and you will have 6 hours per work ring-fenced to study.
