You will have various role & responsibilities that you will be required to undertake during the working day. The role may require you to work across both Holbeach Primary Academy and Holbeach Bank Academy sites.

What you will do in your working day

  • General clerical/admin support across the team.
  • Photocopying.
  • Collation of pupil reports.
  • Greet visitors.
  • Collate information for sending out to parents/carers.
  • Updating of contact lists.
  • Scheduling meetings.
  • Providing refreshments.
  • Booking transport for trips.
  • Maintaining files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible.
  • Sorting and distributing incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail (envelopes, packages etc).
  • Answering the phone to take messages or redirecting calls to appropriate colleagues.
  • Monitor stocks of office supplies (paper clips, stationery etc.) and report when there are shortages.
  • Undertake basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Perform other office duties as assigned.

The training you will be getting

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship.
  • All delivered within the workplace, and you will meet with your assessor every 4-6 weeks.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • The member of staff appointed will undertake an 18 month Business Administration apprenticeship
  • Further development opportunities across both Holbeach Primary and Holbeach Bank Academies to aid knowledge of life within our primary academies.
