What you will do in your working day

This will be a varied role allowing you to learn all aspects of the business.

Duties to be undertaken include but are not limited to: 

  • Supporting the Customer service and accounts team on a day-to-day basis
  • Updating and inputting new products and associated details on company's newly launched Portal and App 
  • Answering calls and emails
  • Ordering supplies (stationary, packaging, office ancillaries etc) 
  • Checking and Reporting on supply status of parts
  • Filing electronic/paper
  • Bookkeeping tasks (invoice entry)
  • Use of company systems and accounts software (Sage and CRM) 
  • Data input into the CRM system
  • Quotations on the CRM system 
  • Screening telephone calls
  • Customer service with new clients, i.e. feedback and testimonial requests
  • Updating social media sites and responding to queries
  • Reviewing company emails and responding 
  • Any other related duties 

Full training will be given in order to complete the above duties to the best of your ability.

The training you will be getting

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

  • Modules covering Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours in Business
  • You'll have a personal tutor to guide you through your training
  • You will attend 1:1 sessions with your tutor every 2/3 weeks
  • End Point Assessment (online)
  • Occasional group classes with other learners
  • Functional Skills Level 2 in maths & English if required
  • Level 3 Business Administrator Certificate from IFATE and City & Guilds
  • Alexis Filters will provide ongoing support and guidance throughout your apprenticeship.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • If the apprentice proves to be successful during the apprenticeship, then their role will be extended beyond the apprenticeship contract
