If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to kickstart your career as an Apprentice Hospitality Team Member with Helen's Bake House and Tearoom.

As an Apprentice Hospitality Team Member, you'll embark on a diverse and exciting journey within the hospitality industry.

Here's what an average week might look like for you:

Customer Engagement:

  • Recognise customer profiles and needs, providing excellent customer service that exceeds their expectations
  • You'll learn to communicate effectively and use your initiative to determine customer needs.
  • Additionally, you'll gain insights into handling customer feedback and continuously improving your service

Business Knowledge:

  • Understand our business, values, and competition
  • Learn how your role contributes to achieving business targets and promoting our standards

Core Hospitality Skills:

  • Develop essential skills such as welcoming guests, promoting products and services, and understanding the importance of enhancing the customer experience

The training you will be getting

  • Level 2 Hospitality Team Member apprenticeship standard Level 1/2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
  • This apprenticeship is delivered through a combination of Work Based Assessment and day/block release
  • The programme will culminate in an End Point Assessment, where all the skills and knowledge gained on the apprenticeship will be formally tested

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Upon completing this apprenticeship, you may have the opportunity to advance to a hospitality supervisory or team-leading role within the industry
  • You may also have the opportunity for long-term employment at Helen’s Bake House and Tearoom

Things to consider

Immediate work available. Potential college induction September 2024. Variable hours, working Monday through to Saturday, 4x7 hour shifts. Start time of working day between 8am and 9am.
