What you will do in your working day

Responsibilities will include:

  • Learning how to read and understand drawings
  • Establish tooling requirements
  • Learning how to to read, understand and write CNC programs in FANUC this is a must
  • Learning how to  generate programs offline using CAPT Cad Cam system or One CNC
  • Learning how to use and read a range of measuring equipment

The training you will be getting

Full training will be provided and will be held at West Lancashire College
The qualification is Machining Techinican Level 3

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

After 4-year Apprenticeship the possibility of progressing to HNC/HND standard.
