What you will do in your working day

• Planning and organising a range of stimulating activities
• Supervising and observing children from 0 to 5 years old
• Supporting children to develop their independence and social skills
• Motivating the children and inspiring them to experience the awe and wonder of the world
they live in…
• Shaping children’s learning experience and learning a range of different approaches to child
development and learning: Montessori, Reggio Emilia and High Scope, Schemas…
• Working alongside professional Sports Coaches, Phonics Teachers and Drama and Dance
• Teaching children to develop positive relationships with other children and adults
• Meeting care needs of children, e.g. changing nappies, feeding and interactions.
• Making sure the environment is clean and tidy and creating a stimulating learning

The training you will be getting

The successful candidate will complete a Early Years Practitioner Level 2 qualification or alternative a Early Years Educator Level 3 qualification.
The training will take place on the works premises and be delivered as a hybrid model with face to face visits, online work and webinars. 
The course structure will be confirmed by the skills coach.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

The employer will support the successful candidate with a childcare pathway that will cover levels 2 to levels 5.
