Here's what a typical day with us looks like:

  • Nurturing Excellence: Lead by example across the Early Years Foundation Stage, creating a warm and inclusive environment where children can thrive
  • Educational Innovation: Collaborate with our dedicated team to plan and implement engaging activities that support the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of our young learners
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of the Early Learning Goals as required by Ofsted, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation
  • Continuous Learning: Take advantage of training opportunities and staff meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge, positioning yourself as a valued member of our team
  • To work your agreed hours as set by the college/school. (if applicable)
  • To be flexible within working practices of nursery. Be prepared to help where needed, including undertaking certain domestic jobs within the nursery, e.g., preparation of snack meals
  • Look upon the nursery as a ‘whole’; be constantly aware of the needs of the children

Specific Tasks:

  • The preparation and completion of activities to suit the child’s stage of development
  • Washing up/sweeping/clearing away toys and light equipment
    Helping children to put on their coats etc.
  • To be aware of the high profile of the nursery and to uphold its standards at all times

The training you will be getting

  • Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard
  • Functional skills in maths and English if required
  • Deliverr method and location of training to be confirmed

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • After a successful period of completion during the apprenticeship, we would offer the apprentice a full time role with competitive salary increase

Kiddicare nursery is a private day nursery setting that welcomes children from age 3 months to 5 years old. We are a multicultural nursery setting located in London. We provide a secure environment in which each child can grow to their full potential. Personalised care and learning ensures that the diverse needs of individual children are met. We have 24-hour CCTV in operation in all our classrooms, playground and outside the nursery. Our nursery staffs are highly qualified nursery practitioners with relevant childcare qualifications up to degree and DBS checked
