What you will do in your working day

  • Install plumbing, heating and chilled water systems.
  • Install a range of components and valves within pipework systems as guided by supervisor/senior fitter.
  • Work with copper, steel, plastic, and all associated tools, fittings and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively when working on site.
  • Safely carry out daily tasks.

The training you will be getting

Standard Plumbing NVQ3 but with Option 3  non- Domestic Plumbing Technician bolt on rather than gas or renewables. Course duration of 4 years total.

Blended on/off the job training and location to be confirmed.


What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Wage increase yearly or upon completion of progressive stages.
  • After initially qualifying, you could go on to supervisory roles or senior management positions.
