What you will do in your working day

  • The counter operative is required to be friendly approachable and an integral part of the business - the foreground of the company, they are the representation of “Bon Appetit’ and should be always service with a smile and professional.
  • Bon Appetit requires someone who is committed, positive and enthusiastic to increasing sales and ensuring the smooth-running operation in our expanding locations.
  • In this role the candidate will always be busy on their feet, re stocking, serving, and requesting a job if they find they have a quiet spell.
  • This person should be confident to link with the production manager and chef on any issues within the front of house deli area, being able to give clear feedback and offering suggestions to increase sales.
  • A professional approach to both the daily customers you serve and the customer we supply to is vital.
  • This level of professionalism is to be expected throughout your daily routine, whilst building and keeping relationships to the forefront of your customer service routine.
  • Working closely with the Production manager to ensure wastage is at a minimum and production of quality products is monitored leads to increased sales.
  • Prepare and produce salad, pastas, and sandwiches daily for Roseberry Park and assist with the smooth running of the daily production operation ensuring food safety procedures are always followed.
  • Ensure all required paperwork is completed throughout the daily production process ensuring all necessary standards are met including but not limited to completion of daily HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) log, pest control, supplier delivery temperatures log
  • Ensure excellent customer service ensuring all customers are served to a high standard in a friendly and polite manner, work closely with the chef and General manager to promote products to increase sales. Upsell and offer any promotions and meal deals to customers whenever possible.
  • Ensuring newspapers are delivered daily in a timely fashion.
  • Prepare cold food preparation ensuring food safety procedures and preparation
  • Cleaning duties
