What you will do in your working day

Role will include:

  • Liaising with various departments within the business and staff on all levels. You'll do this by telephone, face to face an by email and electronic internal messenger. 
  • Booking hotels and services for visitors and staff, taking into account preferred suppliers and costs. You'll do this online or by telephone.
  • Maintenance of our internal training schedule using bespoke systems and creating regular reports.
  • Coordinating visitor logistics and meeting rooms using paper based and electronic systems.
  • Collecting and distributing improvement ideas from staff. Ensuring that these are shared with the relevant people in a timely manner.

The training you will be getting

Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills if required.

This is a work based programme which means that most of your learning will take place on the site of your employment and within your contracted working hours.

We host supporting workshops regularly throughout the apprenticeship which you can attend in person at our Derby Road campus. These workshops are designed carefully to support the learning required throughout the apprenticeship.

You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession.

You will experience a blended learning model. 

You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio. 

At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed by all parties that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged.

This company are keen to retain good talent. Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship programme, a permanent position may be offered, alongside any additional, relevant and supportive training.
