What you will do in your working day

Brief description of the apprenticeship role: 

To carry out administrative duties for Apex Wiring Splutions accounts department and also helping out with general office administation when necessary. Your duties will include: 

  • Allocating incoming payments 
  • Processing account application forms 
  • Reconciling supplier statements, processing customer statements 
  • Answering emails and telephone queries
  • Matching purchase invoices with delivery notes and inputting onto the system 
  • Chasing monthly payments 
  • Carrying out other various office duties when needed which will include processing sales invoices and delivery notes 
  • Booking travel for employees 
  • Helping with refreshments for meetings

Working week:

  • 37.5 hours per week

The training you will be getting

  • One college release day per week at New College Durham. This is a face-to-face session so you must be able to attend each week. 
  • Training from current employees will be provided while in the workplace 
  • Level 2 AAT qualification

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • Level 2 AAT qualification gained upon completion. Opportunity for full-time employment or progression onto Level 3 AAT apprenticeship.
