What you will do in your working day

  • Provide office support to a busy administrative office.
  • Answering the phone and taking phone messages and passing them on to the relevant member of staff. 
  • Interact with clients, staff, and suppliers etc. either on the phone or in person and to maintain a professional approach at all times.
  • Greet visitors in a polite manner and direct them to the correct meeting rooms.
  • Make tea / coffee for any Client meetings that take place.
  • Support in the maintenance of well-organised files and records.
  • Assist with petty cash and expenses reconciliation.
  • Assist with any travel arrangements / train / flights / hotel bookings.
  • Preparing orders for office stationery and supplies.
  • Photocopying any relevant documents.
  • Shredding, filing, and general office tidying.
  • Provide administrative support to project managers.
  • Attending project meetings and taking minutes.
  • Attending site meetings as required.
  • Issuing agendas, minutes and other documentation to clients.
  • Assisting with the compilation of tender documentation and project documentation.
  • Updating website and other Social Media platforms.

  • Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship standard.
  • Remote training.
