What you will do in your working day

This role will allow the successful candidate to learn about:

  • Financial Services legal and regulatory frameworks and the role of different regulators
  • Financial crime legislation and regulation, including risk typologies
  • Compliance policies and procedures
  • Systems, tools and processes, including IT tools
  • Data analysis and management information

Responsibilities:

  • Updating compliance risk registers and collating key metrics
  • Keep abreast of UK compliance requirements relevant to BII’s operations, as well as understanding the compliance obligations in other countries in which BII operates
  • Support with the development of senior management reporting dashboards
  • Support the creation of interactive training material
  • Support compliance investigations and internal reviews

Things to consider

· To comply with the apprenticeship eligibility rules, at the start of the apprenticeship, you must be aged 18 or over, living in England, and not in full-time education and have the right to work in the UK. · A strong commitment towards successfully completing the Level 3 Risk and Compliance Officer Apprenticeship.
