What you will do in your working day

As an electrical engineering apprentice, you will be learning all aspects of electrical engineering to become a fully competent electrical engineer at the end of the 4-year apprenticeship.


This apprentice role will enable you to learn the skills required to be able to work as a key member of the site maintenance team supporting the production department to achieve the site goals, working with the engineering systems to ensure the company maintains a high-quality product, always in line with company policies, regulatory standards, and statutory guidelines / deadlines.

At the end of the 4-year apprenticeship with the training provided and qualifications achieved we expect that you will become fully competent in being an electrical engineer with skills in the following areas:

·                  Installation, inspection & testing

·                  Fault finding & repairs

·                  Electrical planned maintenance

The training you will be getting

Our apprenticeship provides valuable on-the-job training and experience combined with studying for several qualifications including level 3 electro-technical qualification in Electrical installation.

Things to consider

Successful applicants will have to be 18 or over (due to the nature of the work and H&S implications), live within 30-minute commute of the site.
