What you will do in your working day

  • Assist in the delivery of an efficient and effective administration service supporting trade managers.
  • Produce standard and non-standard documentation using a variety of computer software packages ie databases, letters, faxes, spreadsheets.
  • Arranging import and export shipments alongside HM Revenue and customs requirements.
  • Maintain a comprehensive paper based and computer filing system to enable effective storage and retrieval of a wide range of documentation.
  • Adhere to the security procedures and general confidentiality required within these areas. 
  • To work closely with the Directors, staff and external bodies. 
  • Support staff with operational and administration duties such as producing documentation to support shipments.
  • Dealing with customers and suppliers both in the UK and further afield such as Africa.
  • Continuing and ensuring a high standard to all our customers.

The training you will be getting

Business Admin Apprenticeship Level 3 Training will be given on all aspects of their logistics position although they must be computer literate, have administration experience and comfortable with phone usage, Mathematics and general English skills.

Possibility of a full time role upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
