What you will do in your working day

We are passionate about improving reliability, availability and performance with a focus of enabling the team to deliver results and succeed on the track and pride ourselves on sharing knowledge and developing new processes. As a valued member of the team, you will work collaboratively to develop solutions that will enable the whole team to succeed, including the following;

  • You will work and learn with the team to evolve the services, championing change and driving continual improvements.
  • To deliver exceptional customer service and technical excellence.
  • To collaboratively improve our systems and procedures to reduce complexity and improve reliability.
  • You will work within a team to troubleshoot and resolve IT systems, software, and database issues.
  • You will network with the IT team, the business, customer teams and suppliers to implement industry standard and bespoke solutions.
  • Maintain our infrastructure landscape to ensure system availability.

The training you will be getting

During this Level 4 Applications Support Lead apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme with LearnTech, delivered through combined weekly remote classroom-based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning working towards completing the Applications Support Lead standard.
