What you will do in your working day

Each day will be different and varied, some days you may be working on space management projects, looking at how we can improve our facilities for staff and service users. Other days you may be producing ID passes, scheduling repair requests for our out-sourced contractors and suppliers or assisting with inspections for safety compliance.

Aligning to the Apprenticeship Standards, the role will be different and varied.

  • Project work – Facility maintenance.
  • Contractors – management of contracted projects and maintenance.
  • Health & Safety Compliance
  • Problem solving for our internal customers.

All of the above will be supported by training via the apprenticeship program, external training and mentoring.

The training you will be getting

  • Facilities Services Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship qualification
  • The apprenticeship training will be provided through online learning
    Training and development will take place in the workplace

  • Full time Facilities Manager and Level 3 and 4 Facilities apprenticeships
