What you will do in your working day

As a Business Administration Apprentice, you'll be an essential part of our team, learning the ropes of how our business operates and gaining valuable skills along the way.

You'll be involved in a variety of tasks that support our day-to-day operations, including:

  • Administrative Support -  Assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document management – via spreadsheets, Quickbooks and Prospect CRM
  • Customer Service: Providing support to customers through various channels such as phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Office Management -  Helping to keep our office running smoothly by ordering supplies, organising meetings, and maintaining office equipment
  • Team Collaboration - Working closely with other team members to complete projects and achieve departmental goals
  • Learning and Development - Participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in business administration

The training you will be getting

  • Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard, including Functional Skills if required
  • This is a work based programme which means that all of your learning will take place on the site of your employment and within your contracted working hours
  • We host supporting workshops regularly throughout the apprenticeship which you can attend in person at our Derby Road campus
  • You will work with expert assessors to develop new knowledge, skills and behaviours within the profession
  • You will experience a blended learning model
  • You will gather learning evidence, journals and off-the-job records using your e-portfolio
  • At the end of the planned learning period, it will be agreed that you are ready to enter 'Gateway' and for your End Point Assessment to be arranged
