What you will do in your working day

  • You will learn how to serve patients in a healthcare setting
  • Till operation and cash handling
  • Helping with stock deliveries and putting stock away as required
  • Assisting with preparation of prescriptions for the pharmacist
  • Dealing with enquiries from patients, doctors and other agencies in person, over the telephone or through email
  • Date checking and keeping shelves tidy and general house keeping
  • General administrative tasks such as invoice filing

About the employer

We are an independent community retail pharmacy based in the heart of Arundel, West Sussex. The pharmacy is currently only providing private services alongside retail and over the counter medicines. This is due to change to include NHS prescription services in due course. Our key focus is the delivery of a patient/customer centred service with professional Integrity.
