What you will do in your working day

Day to day tasks you could be doing:

  • Assisting the dentist in clinical procedures, providing chairside assistance.
  • Keeping high standards of infection control whilst following practice policy and procedure.
  • Preparing instruments for use.
  • Monitor stock levels for all materials.
  • Sterilising Dental equipment according practice procedures.
  • Handling lab work and arranging deliveries.

The training you will be getting

  • An opportunity to complete Functional Skills in maths and English if required 
  • Gain a Level 3 General Dental Council qualification in the industry
  • A mixture of online training and face-to-face training

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • The possibility to become a permanent member of staff and to progress with further post qualifications.
