What you will do in your working day

The duties and responsibilities involved in this role will involve: 

  • Preparation of Financial Statements from client records.
  • Bookkeeping and VAT Return preparation using a variety of software (Quickbooks, Sage, Xero etc)
  • All aspect of practice administration, filing of physical and electronic documents & scanning, assisting with billing and supporting the Practice Manager with fulfilment of their duties. Social media contribution.
  • Learning all aspects of a payroll bureau function. Assisting with preparation of payslips and advising PAYE liabilities.

The training you will be getting

Training will be at North Lindsey Collegewhere you will access a wide range of facilities on offer. 

Day release 

You will undertake the Accounts or Finance Assistant Level 3 standard.     

Apprenticeship search / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education  

You will undertake Functional Skills for English and/or Maths if needed. 

You will undertake both on and off the job training by a team of industry-qualified professionals to give you the best skills, knowledge, and experience.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a higher-level apprenticeship or full-time employment for the right candidate.
