What you will do in your working day

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Senior Buyer with all aspects of order input and expediting of all orders
  • Assisting with regular stock counts
  • Liaising with Client Services, Planning and Production, ensuring all items are received within the required time scales to meet installation dates
  • Complete any ad-hoc tasks as and when to support business requirements including, where required, all other Purchasing tasks such as:
    • Supporting both the Group Supply Chain Manager and Senior Buyer with administrative tasks
    • Be a point of contact for all Purchasing department queries and where necessary seek support

The training you will be getting

  • On successful completion of the Apprenticeship, individuals will have achieved the CIPS Level 3 Advanced Certificate in Procurement & Supply, a globally recognised qualification
  • Training will be a combination of on the job and off the job
  • The off the job element will include virtual classroom style learning and revision days as well as one to one tutor sessions
  • Study guides, eBooks and eLearning will be provided

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

Whilst we cannot guarantee a position at the end of the Apprenticeship scheme, we would hope to offer the successful candidate a permanent position.
