This role involves a combination of everyday admin duties as well as more challenging and demanding tasks that are assigned on an ad hoc basis. You will receive a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Qualification.

    Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).

    Minimum Wage Rates

  • Working week

    Monday – Thursday: 8.30am – 5.00pm. Friday: 8.30am to 4.00pm. (breaks to be confirmed).

    Total hours per week: 41.5

    (the hours are based on the candidate being over 18)

What you will do in your working day

Duties include:

  • Despatch administration, liaising with warehouse and sales
  • Assisting the general office with administration duties
  • Inbound and outbound telephone calls and emails as required
  • Maintaining accurate, timely, and complete records
  • Experience of using Microsoft package
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving office procedures
  • Good work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Effective communicator, with a polite and professional telephone manner
  • Able to work as part of a team

The training you will be getting

  • Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Qualification 
  • Functional Skills in maths and English, if required

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • After completion of your Apprenticeship, you will potentially have the opportunity to progress onto full-time positions within the business.
