What you will do in your working day
- Designing smart infrastructure found in buildings which typically include systems such as building management systems that control heating, ventilation, air conditioning and lighting, energy management systems, IT networks for building operational technology such as CCTV and security systems, to deliver
- There will be the opportunity to work across a number of disciplines within our business, including design, commissioning, project management and software development.
- Work on newly built facilities and the refurbishment of historic
premises within a variety of sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, education and leisure. - Understand sustainability, as this is at the heart of our business so you will get involved in designing sustainable buildings as well as the sustainability of our business.
The training you will be getting
- HNC in Building Services Engineering (Level 4)
- You will attend London South Bank University for one day each week during term time and work the remaining 4 days of the working week. Outside of the academic term, your role will be full time.
- You will undertake learning within the workplace to demonstrate the achievement of the KSB's to successfully complete the End Point Assessment (EPA).
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
- There is an opportunity to secure a permanent position after successfully completing the apprenticeship.
