What you will do in your working day

Your duties will include the maintenance and installation of:

  • CCTV
  • Intruder Alarms
  • Integrated Security Systems
  • Fire Alarms
  • Inhouse Security Systems
  • Intercom & Access Control
  • Barriers & Gates
  • Security Fog Systems
  • Keyholding Services

Your working hours will be 7am to 5pm 

The training you will be getting

Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release.

You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.

You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.

The employer will mentor and coach you on the job.

Things to consider

The apprenticeship is 36 months and therefore, full commitment is needed. You will be required to travel to the Watford training centre
