Summary
Provide overall support to the Health and Safety department within a construction SME whilst working towards a Level 3 Safety, Health and Environment Apprenticeship Qualification. There will be opportunity to learn about workplace health and safety, environmental issues and the wider construction industry.

Monday to Friday, typically 8:30am - 5pm. Due to the nature of the role the post holder will need to be flexible in relation to working hours as some site visits will be required.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
- Safety, health and environment technician level 3
- 20% of your time will be spent undertaking off-the-job learning. This includes online lessons with the apprenticeship provider, undertaking guided learning and preparing a range of assignments.

Other requirements
This is a hands-on role which will require occasional travel to construction sites within London and East Anglia. Working will at times be outside or in uncomfortable conditions.
