BPP have an exciting new opportunity for a L3 Business / Transport Administrator Apprentice with Flogas Britain Ltd, a gas company based in Immingham. You will be dealing with business administration support to the Site Manager, and we are wanting to develop the apprentice to get more involved in transport administration/compliance.

What you will do in your working day

  • Working with the Site Manager, responsible for leading and motivating a team of up to 30 drivers to deliver excellent service to customers, in line with requirements and the business strategy
  • Working with the Site Manager effectively managing the sites in accordance with business and legislative requirements
  • Working with the Site Manager, managing safety in accordance with the Safety Management System to meet compliance and driving a safety culture
  • Providing administrative support to the Site Manager in adhering with transport compliance, including vehicle maintenance, driver’s hours and tachograph regulations in addition to working time directive regulations
  • Providing administrative support in managing compliance of company processes and procedures relating to sales, stocks, financial controls within the operating system (CODAS)
  • Complying to Flogas operating procedures and works instructions
  • Professional approach to people management to drive effective team working
  • Supporting the Site Manager in managing plant costs within budgeted levels
  • Supporting the Site Manager in debriefing drivers
  • Supporting the Site Manager in maintaining control of business assets in alignment with expectations and standards
  • Experience of working with customers, in providing great service and resolving customer issues
