What you will do in your working day

  • To assist for the planning, development and delivery of themes within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring all learning interests and individual needs of the children are met, extending them where necessary.
  • To assist for organising the environment inside and outside to ensure resources and equipment are available and appropriate to meet the needs of the individual children within the group, whilst making sure the resources and equipment are set out in a purposeful, stimulating and safe way, rich in learning opportunities.
  • To clear away activities, resources and equipment once finished with, encouraging children to help, making sure all is put away correctly.

The training you will be getting

  • The apprentice will be able to attain a level 2 qualification in Childcare.
  • Training provided will be offered at the training provider's address.
  • Apprentice can attend training from 1 to 2 days per week.

What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship

  • There will be opportunities to apply for a full-time, qualified role on completion of the apprenticeship and for progression to a Level 3 qualification.
